HardieFence EasyLock system. HardieFence sheet has an overlap on one edge, and an underlap on the other edge to enable seamless sheet interlocking.
How to tell the difference between them. They may look similar but they are not!! Super Six has 7 ridges & usually bolted, modern Hardifence has 5 and no bolts.
Free standing fence
Hardifence is a post-less, highly durable, free standing fence. Hardifence is 7mm thick interlocking sheets with a metal capping and is ideal for sloping sites and buried into sandy soils, eliminating gaps below the fence on bottom level and sloping sites.
Seamless interlocking
Each sheet has an overlap on one edge, and an underlap {or smaller corrugation}on the edge to enable seamless interlocking. Hardifence is designed to be buried into sandy soils, thus eliminating gaps.
Speedy installation
This provides a barrier to weeds growing under the fence and is great benefit when the most enthusiastic dog from getting out. Hardifence can be painted once installed, meaning each neighbour can choose a colour to compliment their garden.
Freestanding structure
Hardifence is a freestanding structure designed to restrict or prevent movement across a boundary. Fences are generally distinguished from walls by the lightness of their construction and their purpose. Walls are usually barriers made from solid construction blocking vision as well as passage, while fences are used more frequently to provide visual sectioning of spaces.
Hardifence or Super Six?
Super Six (Asbestos fence) as it was known, ceased production in mid 1980's and was replaced with Hardifence, the cement is now basically help together with wood pulp fibre, as opposed to asbestos fibres. Removing old 'Super six' fencing is a specialist job, only undertaken by qualified contractors. We are WorkSafe qualified to remove and dispose of this.
Hardifence Ezilock®
HardieFence sheet has an overlap on one edge, and an underlap (or smaller corrugation) on the other edge to enable seamless interlocking. This gives a consistent look on either side of the fence. To add to this, Hardifence is a post-less system with no protruding bolts, sharp edges or nails. It can also be onsite-painted in a full range of exterior paint colours.
